Hey Martin,

Thanks for your quick reply!

We have to keep Twitter in a separate panel because we're legally required to keep their content separated from other types of content. I agree that it makes sense to merge all the sources! Maybe one day we'll be able to do this :).

I really appreciate you sharing your views about what a personalized news feed means to you. It is a tricky issue, but I hope with the help of people like you, we'll be able to find ways to improve and balance out our streams. I will definitely be passing this onto the team for discussion.

P.S. Just an extra FYI, I've marked this post as declined in regards to merging Twitter and adding support Google+ since at this time we are too limited and unable to make these changes.

Hi Martin,

Good news - this issue should be fixed! Please take a look when you've got time and let me know if you're still having trouble.

Thanks again for your patience and have a great day,

Elle
Thanks again for sharing your ideas! I'd like to ask you a couple more questions if you don't mind :).

Do you mean that the news item would only be shown once with a note about other places it's been shared?

Or, would the item be shown on Facebook, Twitter, and RSS with the different source variations?

I'm looking forward to hearing more!
Thanks for the great ideas, Martin! I'm definitely going to share them with the rest of the team and see what they think!

We'd love to add more services, especially Google+, but unfortunately their API is very limited at the moment. As soon as it changes, we hope to be able to offer this option in FlowReader.

Do you mind me asking if you find it confusing to have Twitter in a separate panel on the same screen?

Also, in regards to merging all news together in one place from all the sources - do you mean removing stories that have nothing to do with content items? i.e. Posts from your friends about their social activities.

UPDATE: This issue has been fixed.

Please let me know if you're still having trouble and we'll check it out, but hopefully it should be resolved and back to normal :).
Not a problem at all! That's what I'm here for :)
Hi Martin,

Thanks for your report! We're aware of this problem and the team is already working on it :). This is being caused by an issue with Facebook servers and loading profile avatars. It should be resolved and fixed very soon!

Let me know if you have any more questions or issues!

Thanks,
Elle

Quick correction: The bug is being caused by a new behavior of history in Chrome 34 that affects all users across all platforms.
