Facebook and Twitter tabs empty

Facebook and twitter tabs are completely empty - just a white page.  I signed up with google and then added my facebook and twitter accounts.  Ive tried this on safari and chrome on a mac.

Seconded, I have signed in with google and added facebook and twitter, and am not seeing any such updates. Using chrome 27 on mac.
