SOL Price Rebounds from $100, But Can It Break $125?

Solana (SOL) is attempting a recovery after finding strong support above the $100 level. While the price saw a short-term breakout, indicators suggest that bullish momentum is fading and downside risks remain.

After consolidating above $100, Solana gained pace and broke through the $110 and $112 resistance levels. It also cleared a bearish trendline near $107 on the hourly chart, leading to a sharp move toward $120.10.

However, the rally lost steam as the price faced rejection near the $120 resistance zone. SOL has since retraced and is currently trading above $105 and the 100-hourly simple moving average—keeping hopes of a bullish continuation alive.

Crucial Resistance Levels Ahead

SOL is now facing immediate resistance near the $118 level, with stronger barriers at $120 and $125. A successful close above $125 could open the doors to $132 and even $140 in the short term. However, without a convincing move, the risk of sideways or downward movement remains.

RSI Indicates Cautious Sentiment

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) for Solana is currently at 45.52—hovering below the neutral 50 mark. This follows a recent drop to an oversold level of 21.53, which signaled heavy selling pressure.

Although the RSI has recovered slightly, it remains weak, suggesting that buyers are hesitant. If the RSI doesn’t move above 50 soon, it could indicate continued uncertainty and limited bullish strength.

BBTrend Points to Renewed Bearish Momentum

The Bollinger Band Trend (BBTrend) indicator has turned negative, now reading -14.19—the lowest level since March 13. This suggests that bearish momentum is picking up again, increasing the risk of further downside.

Solana is holding key support, but indicators like RSI and BBTrend show hesitation and growing bearish pressure. For a strong upside move, SOL must break above the $125 resistance level. Until then, caution remains the name of the game.
