It looks like something has been fixed. I am now receiving updates from my FeedBurner-based feeds, and have been able to successfully add the Ars Technica UK feed mentioned above.
This isn't just affecting you.
I've got a couple of subscriptions to Ars Technica feeds. If I go to the site I can see the new content, and looking at the raw RSS, that content is being advertised. It's just not being picked up.
I've suggested this on a similar issue in the past, but it's worth repeating here: users need some way of forcing a back-end refresh of a feed. This could be controlled with a rate limit, e.g. one manual update every 15 minutes, to prevent it being abused. The benefit of this is that users won't need to file a support ticket to get their stuck feeds working again.
If anyone from Flow Reader is working on getting feeds updating again, please look at mine too. My ID is 557f612ed78b0587448b4b2a.
I'm not sure if anything has been actioned by Flow Reader staff, but the affected feeds are now showing new posts again. This has happened in the last 15 hours (overnight in my time zone).

It also appears that a manual refresh button had been added in the past (http://flowreader.userecho.com/topic/187034-refresh-button/), but I can't see this button anywhere in the UI.

Sorry - this should have been filed as a bug, not an idea. I don't know how to move the post.
